The amount of waste at every stage in textile production is appalling. Over consumption feeds into over production of clothes leading to using material that inflicts more pain on the environment. I believe that it is the lack of regulation on how these synthetic materials are used and disposed that have led to the current situation - one that we still have the power to change.
